Makes a change from flowers doesn’t it?

Got bored, found some leather sample swatches, dug out my old leather needles usually reserved for repairing my bike leathers and had a play. Several blisters later and some stabbed fingers, (I really could have done with a muzzle to start with and stopped the air turning ‘blue’!), we have my first ever start to finish bona fide leather garment I’ve ever made.

Family didn’t seem to like it or even understand why I made it although I’m pretty sure I saw a twinkle in my wife’s eye for a moment…….

Anyway, it was fun making it and once again you lot have to endure my ugly mug, (even uglier than usual I suppose but at least mostly covered this time!)

Technical details? Yes, a camera was used, so was a flash, pretty fast shutter speed and yes, it is post processed.

No, I didn’t kill the cow but it’s a useful byproduct from all those burger eaters
